History
Queensland was originally a part of the New South Wales penal
colony. The convicts were moved out in 1842 then settlers were able to vacate
Queensland or its name of the time. At this time there were still many areas
unexplored by Europeans, however, the South-east (the richer part) was quickly vacated
after the discovery of gold - then of course there was the Gold-Rushes.

Noosa River, runs right through the fast growing community at Noosa Waters. This is one of the most successful areas for residents buying house and land. The astonishing views attract many people and there is always plenty of activities - with its parklands, rivers and shopping centres. Under Interesting Places you will find Noosa Heads and its marvellous beaches.
A mother sitting with her children at a park in Toowoomba, lake Annand to be exact. Toowoomba is Queensland's largest inland city. It's located 130Km west of Brisbane. Some features include beautiful gardens, shady parks, lucious tree-lined streets, it is known as Queensland's Garden City.
Horseshoe Bay, Bowen. Bowen is situated 1000Km north of Brisbane. It is midway of Mackay and Townsville, both wonderful places, wonderful novelties. Founded in 1861 tells me, my reliable book and was the first white settlement north of Rockhampton, it served as a base for the exploration and settlement of Northern Queensland.
