The Great Barrier Reef is the world's most extensive
coral reef, extending for approximately 2000Km
(ouch, another long journey) along Qld coastline!
Well, I don't have that many pictures at the moment
but I will go get some more to show you!
There are numerous subtropical islands located on the sheltered side of the reef, these are mostly submerged mountains, reveiling above the reef. These islands are untouched and many of them are noted as national parks. Ok, now if you like the sounds of this environment, good news is that atleast 20 of these islands have resort facilities on them (Most of them are located under Interesting Places). There is organised activities, like boating activities and scouting the reefs for treasures - might I add the wonderful scuba diving locations. As you can see there are a lot of lovely things, well those 2 pictures probably don't show you that but when I get more pix, I guarantee you'll like it!
