Wombat, this lazy, sometimes vicious animal is rarely sighted in suburban areas, a trip to a wild-life park will pay off for anyone wanting to see one.

Goanna, this is a massive lizard, that could rip your eyes out if given the chance.  It lives in NT and other desert-like places outback Australia.

Frilly Neck Lizard, how we love these in Australia.  They live in NT and hate cool climates, therefore you will not see many in cooler parts of Australia unless... *grin*

Dingoes, these aren't dangerous but rather curious.  They are a wild dog that lives in the outbacks and they don't eat babies. This one was yawning when the shot was captured (not growling).

Sugar Glider, as seen at top of page, this is one of Australia's most valuable assets, very popular with tourists.  Beautiful and common.  Like the second to its name it glides from tree tree and 'sugar' because either it drinks from sugared vegetation or its really sweet with tourists.

There are many different breeds of crocodiles and all breads are dangerous.  All crocodile infested rivers or lakes are declared so there is never a big danger.  Rare cases of crocodile attacks are reported, considering they are such a common sighting.
