Kangaroos

Here a Joey or baby Kangaroo is playing with it's mother.  The mother carriesthe joey in her pouch (as do wombats).  The pouch holds milk glands, so the baby can drink without losing contact with its mother.

Kangaroos are one of the most common types of marsupials found
in Australia. They eat grass and other vegetation.
